Pay Rate: £37 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid Working (Three days a week in the office)

The London Borough of Enfield is seeking a skilled MASH Social Worker to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families within a supportive and forward-thinking local authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and assess incoming referrals to the MASH, ensuring timely and effective responses to safeguarding concerns.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and gather information from multiple agencies to inform decision-making.

  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies, including health, education, and police, to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to professionals and families regarding safeguarding concerns.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements and Enfield's policies.

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work England Registration: You must be registered with Social Work England.

  • UK Experience: A minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience as a Social Worker in a Child in Need/Child Protection or MASH team within the UK.

  • Expertise in Safeguarding: Proven experience in managing safeguarding cases, conducting risk assessments, and working in a multi-agency environment.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively engage with children, families, and multi-agency partners.
