Social Worker – Referral and Assessment – Central London
 

Role:  Social Worker
Location:  Central London
Team:  Referral and Assessment
Pay:  Up to £36 per hour
Contract:  Full Time Locum

We are currently working with a Council in Central London who are looking for a Social Worker to join their Referral and Assessment team in Children's Services.  This local authority need experienced practitioners to deal with complex cases and you will be working in a safe, supportive and progressive environment. We have worked with this borough for many years and they have become an excellent borough to work for and to develop your career. System practice is at the heart of everything they do.

As a Social Worker in this Referral and Assessment team in Central London, you will need to have at least 1 year post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE.

To be considered as a Social Worker for this role in Central London you will also need:

HCPC Registration 
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check

You will be conducting initial assessments, making home visits (irtual where possible and safe) and writing reports..  There is a duty rota in place which you will be a part of, and you will be expected to sometimes work unsociable hours as the job requires.
