About the Role

As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will manage a varied caseload, working directly with children and families to assess risk, implement safety plans, and secure positive outcomes. You’ll be part of a stable and well-structured service that values relationship-based practice and reflective supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake child protection investigations and assessments under Section 47
  • Develop and implement robust safeguarding and care plans
  • Work closely with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated support
  • Prepare reports and attend court proceedings when required
  • Build meaningful relationships to effect change in vulnerable children’s lives

What We’re Looking For

  • Social Work England registration
  • Experience within Safeguarding, Child Protection or Children in Need
  • Strong assessment, planning and report-writing skills
  • A commitment to high-quality, child-centred practice
