Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and support
  • Undertake assessments, care planning, and risk management in line with statutory requirements
  • Develop effective safety and support plans to promote positive outcomes
  • Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated support
  • Participate in court proceedings and prepare high-quality, analytical reports

Candidate Requirements

  • Social Work England registration
  • Strong post-qualified experience within Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need teams
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
  • A commitment to relationship-based and strengths-focused practice
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment
