Key Responsibilities
- Hold a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and protection
- Undertake comprehensive assessments and implement clear, outcome-focused plans
- Lead child protection investigations and attend case conferences and court when required
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children and families
- Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals to ensure a holistic safeguarding approach
Candidate Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- Significant post-qualified experience in Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need
- Strong assessment, analysis, and risk management skills
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
- Commitment to promoting positive change through child-centred practice
