Salary: £38,443 – £50,083 per annum + Market Supplement

Contract: Full Time, Permanent (36 hours per week)

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join Haringey’s Violence, Vulnerability & Exploitation Team (VVET).

This specialist team works directly with children and young people at high risk of:

  • Serious youth violence and gang involvement
  • Child criminal and sexual exploitation
  • County lines activity
  • Going missing and disengagement from education

You will play a key role in engaging young people through outreach, diversion, and exit support, working alongside families and partner agencies to reduce harm, build resilience, and create sustainable change.

About You

We are looking for a proactive, motivated professional who can:

  • Undertake risk assessments and safeguarding interventions
  • Build trusted relationships with vulnerable young people
  • Work collaboratively with education, health, police, and community partners
  • Provide consistent, trauma-informed support to improve outcomes
  • Champion young people’s voices and aspirations
  • You must be a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
