Are you a qualified social worker with a passion for adult safeguarding?
The London Borough of Southwark is looking for skilled social workers to join their Adults Safeguarding team. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable adults through effective assessments, interventions, and collaboration with multi-agency partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake safeguarding assessments and investigations for adults at risk.
- Work closely with health, police, and voluntary agencies to develop safeguarding plans.
- Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring timely reviews and statutory visits.
- Advocate for vulnerable adults to ensure their rights and dignity are upheld.
- Contribute to safeguarding adults’ meetings, conferences, and multi-agency reviews.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified and registered Social Worker with relevant experience in adult safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to person-centered and rights-based practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model with two days per week in the office.
