Enfield Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Assessment Team. You will work with children and families at the front door of services, completing high-quality assessments and interventions to ensure children receive the right support at the right time.
In this role, you will:
- Undertake statutory assessments and manage Child in Need and Child Protection cases
- Work independently on complex and challenging cases
- Assess and manage risk, adapting practice to meet the needs of families
- Complete high-quality reports and assessments within statutory timescales
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children
- Contribute to effective planning and decision-making for children and families
What You’ll Need:
- Social Work England Registration
- Social Work Qualification
- At least 3 years’ experience in statutory children’s social work
- Experience working within Assessment, CIN, and CP frameworks
- Strong analytical, assessment, and report-writing skills
- Confidence in managing complex and high-risk cases
