Social Worker – Child Protection – East London

Role:  Social Worker
Location:  East London
Team:  Child Protection
Pay:  Up to £45k per annum plus Excellent Golden Hello and Retention Bonus
Contract:  Permanent

Our Local Authority client in East London is currently looking for a Social Worker to join their Child Protection team in Children’s Services.  This local authority are on an incredible journey working to a systemic model of practice. They have returned to grass roots social work so that Social Workers can focus on what matters, the families they support.

As a Social Worker on the Child Protection team in East London, you will need to have at least 1 years post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE.

To be considered as a Social Worker for this role in East London you will also need:

HCPC Registration 
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check

You will be completing child protection investigations and working within court. You will need to have some experience of completing section 15 reports. You will also be working on a duty rota which will see you on duty for only 1 week in every 6, giving you more time to complete your work.
