Social Worker – Children in Care – Sittingbourne
 

Role:  Social Worker
Location:  Kent

Pay:  Up to £40 per hour
Contract:  Full Time Locum

Our Local Authority client in Kent is currently looking for a Social Worker to join their Children in Care team in Children's Services.  This local authority need experienced practitioners to deal with complex cases and you will be dealing with a busy caseload.

As a Social Worker in the Children in Care team in Kent, you will need to have at least 1 year post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE.

To be considered as a Social Worker for this role in Kent you will also need:

HCPC Registration 
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check

You will be holding a caseload of children looked after by the local authority. This will encompass direct work, life stoies and you may also be expected to work in court. There is a duty rota in place which you will be a part of, and you will be expected to sometimes work unsociable hours as the job requires.
