Social Worker – Children with Disabilities Team – London
Location: Royal Borough of Greenwich
Pay/Salary: up to £38.50 per hour
Office Working: Hybrid
Contract: Locum
We are currently working with the Royal Borough of Greenwich to find an experienced Social Worker for their Children with Disabilities team in Childrens Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Greenwich are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service.
Duties
- Completing Section 47’s and section 17 enquiries
- Working closely with multi-agency partners, including OT’s, CAMHS, paediatric and SEND partners)
- Undertake Section 7 and Section 37 reports and attend Court
- Long term engagement with families, including direct work, capturing the voice of the Child
- Write conference reports and attend conferences
- Undertake all Child Protection work from the initial conference onwards
What you need
- Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
- Experience within a Children with Disabilities or similar service
