Are you passionate about safeguarding young people from exploitation, knife crime, and serious violence? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Social Worker to join the Contextual Safeguarding Team within Milton Keynes’ Family Support Service.
The Role
As a case-holding Social Worker in this specialist team, you will:
✔️ Work directly with young people at risk of exploitation and violence, using a creative and relationship-based approach.
✔️ Assess and respond to contextual safeguarding risks—those influences outside the home that impact young people’s safety.
✔️ Work alongside differently qualified workers who provide intensive and flexible support tailored to young people’s needs.
✔️ Think outside the box to engage young people and develop innovative interventions.
✔️ Be office-based three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.
About You
✔️ Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
✔️ Experience working with adolescents and young people at risk.
✔️ Strong skills in relationship-building and creative engagement.
✔️ Knowledge of contextual safeguarding and wider influences on young people’s safety.
✔️ Passionate about learning, developing, and trying new approaches.
