Social Worker – Family Help Team

Hillingdon | Locum | £37.52 per hour | Hybrid Working

Hillingdon Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Family Help Team. You will work closely with children and families, managing complex cases and delivering high-quality, relationship-based social work within a supportive locality model to achieve positive outcomes for children.

In this role, you will:

  • Build meaningful, relationship-based relationships with children and families to support positive change
  • Manage a complex caseload with a high level of professional autonomy
  • Coordinate multi-agency plans to safeguard children and support families
  • Use a range of assessment and intervention frameworks to inform decision-making and planning
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies
  • Work within a locality-based team to deliver child-centred and responsive services
  • Participate in regular supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development

What You’ll Need:

  • Social Work England Registration
  • Social Work Qualification
  • At least 3 years’ experience in children’s social care
  • Experience managing complex safeguarding cases and multi-agency work
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
