Social Worker – Looked After Children – East London

Role:  Social Worker
Location:  East London
Team:  Looked After Children
Pay:  Up to £45k per Annum plus Excellent Retention Bonus
Contract:  Permanent

Our Local Authority client in East London is currently looking for a Social Worker to join their Looked After Children team in Children’s Services.  
As a Social Worker on the Child Protection team in East London, you will need to have at least 2 years post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE.

To be considered as a Social Worker for this role in East London you will also need:

Social Work England Registration 
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check

You will be working with children in care, completing life story work and holding some court cases. There is a duty rota in place which you will be a part of, and you will be expected to sometimes work unsociable hours as the job requires.
