Role:  Specialist Assessment Practitioner

Pay:  Up to £44 per hour
Contract:  Full Time Locum

We are working with a leading local authority in the South West, our client in Devon is looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a brand new team in Childrens Services.

They are seeking Specialist Assessment Practitioners to deliver various consistent high quality/court ready assessments in a timely manner. These could be initial viability assessments/S7/S37 or parenting assessments. This is to take pressure off the social workers and utilise specialist skillsets in ensuring good social work practice.

The client needs a Qualified Social Worker that is ready to help vulnerable children and their families really succeed and affect change. There are lots of progression opportunities too, with regular panels in place for internal promotions. The Managers are there to help you achieve your goals as much as you are there to help them achieve theirs.

You will need to have at least completed an ASYE in Childrens Services to be eligible for this post in Devon for a Qualified Social Worker.

As well as an ASYE, you also need:
•  1+ years post qualifying experience
•    Social Work England Registration
•    Social Work Qualification
•    Right to Work in the UK
