Are you a qualified Social Worker with experience in fostering and children's services? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supervising Social Worker to join the Fostering team within a Local Authority in South East London. This role offers a competitive pay rate of up to £37 per hour.

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to foster carers, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care. You will also be involved in the recruitment, assessment, and training of potential foster carers, as well as carrying out regular home visits and reviews.

To be successful in this role, you must have a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Previous experience in a similar role within a Local Authority setting is essential, as well as a strong understanding of the fostering process and relevant legislation.

In addition to your professional qualifications and experience, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to promoting the best interests of children in care.
