As a Social Work Team Manager for Children In Care Services, you will be part of a dynamic and experienced team that is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and support. Your primary role will be to manage a team of social workers to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people in care.

We are looking for an experienced professional who has a proven track record of leading and managing a social work team. You should be confident in your ability to motivate and inspire your team, while also demonstrating excellent problem solving, communication and organisational skills.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree/qualification in social work, and must be SWE registered and have up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.

In addition, you will need to have a strong understanding of child protection procedures, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children.

You will be responsible for developing and managing the Children In Care Service, ensuring that services are delivered to a high standard and that all team members work in accordance with relevant legislation, procedures and standards.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing plans to ensure positive outcomes for the children and young people in your care.

The successful candidate will also be expected to provide guidance and support to social workers and other professionals, and participate in meetings with external agencies.
