Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £41.42 per hour
Location: Lifford House, Birmingham
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office
Sheldon Phillips are working with Birmingham Children’s Trust to recruit a Team Manager within their Children in Care Service. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive management team committed to improving outcomes for children and young people in care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide effective supervision and line management to a team of Social Workers
-
Oversee casework to ensure the delivery of high-quality, child-centred practice
-
Support care planning, pathway planning, and court proceedings as required

Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and organisational policies

Promote best practice and continuous improvement across the service

Work closely with partner agencies to secure the best outcomes for children
Requirements:

SWE Registration
-
Social Work qualification
-
Post-qualified experience at Senior Practitioner or Team Manager level

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
-
Proven ability to manage performance and drive high standards
-
Experience within Looked After Children / Children in Care services
