Are you a qualified and experienced Social Worker looking for a new challenge? If so, Sheldon-Phillips is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join a team of professionals in the West Midlands.

We are looking for a Team Manager to join a Duty and Assessment Team within a local authority that has recently been rated ‘good’ by OFSTED. This is a locum role, offering a competitive rate of £42 per hour, with hybrid and flexible working options.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England. They should have extensive experience of managing a team of social workers, as well as a proven track record of providing effective leadership. The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of relevant legislation and best practice.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, ensuring they are delivering an effective and efficient service. You will be expected to lead, motivate and develop the team and ensure that they are delivering the highest standards of care. You will be required to review and implement changes to practice and procedures, and take the lead in any investigations or safeguarding cases.
