About the Role:
As a Team Manager in the Family Help Service, you will lead a multi-skilled team focused on providing early and targeted support to families in need. This service works with children and families at the edge of statutory intervention—delivering outcome-focused support to prevent escalation to child protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team delivering early and targeted support to families

  • Ensure the highest quality of service and compliance with statutory frameworks

  • Provide supervision, guidance, and performance management

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners

  • Support innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration

  • Strong experience working with children and families, particularly in early help or CIN settings

  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience

  • Skilled in driving quality practice, managing risk, and building team resilience
