Are you an experienced and motivated social work professional ready to take the next step in your career? The London Borough of Sutton is seeking a skilled Team Manager to lead their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
 

Role: Team Manager – MASH
Location: London Borough of Sutton
Rate: £44.50 per hour (agency contract)
Contract: 3 months+ (extension possible)
Work Arrangement: 3 days a week in the office
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the MASH team to ensure effective safeguarding decisions and timely interventions for vulnerable children and families.
  • Oversee the triaging of referrals and information-sharing processes between partner agencies.
  • Provide strong leadership and direction, ensuring team members are supported to meet performance targets and deliver high-quality work.
  • Monitor and evaluate service delivery, ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to develop and maintain effective multi-agency safeguarding strategies.
     

Requirements:

  • Social Work England (SWE) registration.
  • Proven experience in a MASH team, with a thorough understanding of safeguarding processes.
  • Demonstrable leadership and management experience within a children’s services setting.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
